Task Descriptions
Key Performance Areas
- Ensuring the processes for approval of allowances, authorities to fill posts, appointing of Labour Brokers. Disciplinary and incapacity matters, requests for overtime, etc are compliant with policies and procedures.
- Recording and reporting of the department’s disciplinary and incapacity cases.
- Ensuring the department is enabled to comply with the Individual Performance Management Policy.
- Quality assuring all job descriptions, requests for filling, creating and abolishing of posts.
- Tracking the progress made during all processes involved in the release of vacancies, advertising and filling of posts.
- Creating PID’s for the appointment of EPWP staff.
- Coordinating EPWP interviews and post interview checks.
- Capturing and compiling the workplace skills plan (WSP) as per training needs, training interventions and training beneficiaries.
- Scheduling staff training, conferences and seminars.
- Coordinating all departmental advancement submissions and auctioning Corporate Individual Performance Management reporting requirements.
- Managing training and skills development and the transfer of skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- 5 years’ relevant experience within an HR and General Admin environment
- Proficiency in Ms Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within specified timeframes
